Dallas public relations firm The Gentry Agency ( site, portfolio ) today launched their new web presence. Their previous site was only a one-page "call us" site, but the new one provides visitors with a wealth of information about the agency.

The site needed to be both fun to use and easy to update. Brainfood used a Wiki backend system for the content management and a Flash frontend to create a smooth, fun experience for the site visitor. The Wiki system allows the site admin to update the content that is displayed through Flash using only simple html forms. It doesn't get any easier!

Because search engines have a difficult time tracking Flash content, Brainfood alters delivered content based on how it's requested. Typical users see the typical Flash frontend. The server will see that a search engine is requesting a page with Flash content and will deliver the regular page, but the Flash area will include the Flash piece's text content.
